First Sight

Jen: The first time I saw Ryan was sometime during Winter Semester 2012 while I was at work at the Y-Serve office at BYU. I was seated at my desk and he came up to ask me a question. Immediately, l thought to myself, this guy is really cute, and he looks really familiar. Finally, I decided that it was my friend’s boyfriend. Dang. He even told me his name and it was extremely similar to the boyfriend’s name. Ryan said that “his friend” needed service hours, and honestly I don’t remember too much of the conversation after that because he was off-limits. (Fun fact: I actually didn’t make this first sight connection until after we were already dating). 

Ry: I walked into Jen’s work and made myself look like a fool. I was trying to help a friend find some service hours but everything I said sounded like those stereotypical “its not for me, I have a friend” situations. Anyways, I remember thinking she was really cute and I was mad I had been so goofy.
